Luuk has been involved with beez since 2014. Clients are very interested in his business insights and market knowledge (Russia, Indonesia, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands).
Luuk started his career at Sara Lee in Indonesia. After 14 years, he lead the business development of household brands, such as Sanex, Senseo and Douwe–Egberts.
From 2004 to 2007, Luuk was in charge of the global development of the Senseo coffee machines and the Douwe-Egberts coffee pods. He led the launch and development of such brands in Belgium, Japan, China and Hungary.
From 2007 to 2009, Luuk oversaw the implementation of a major growth plan of Douwe-Egberts products in Russia.
In 2010, Luuk joined Duc d’O, a premium chocolate brand based in Belgium. In just four years, he led the transformation of a “sleeping beauty” into a highly profitable business active in some 60 countries across all continents. From ideation to implementation, this successful business turnaround expanded his business management skills.
A digital enthusiast, Luuk is fascinated by the opportunities that the ongoing technological revolution is creating for business entrepreneurs.
Based in Antwerp, Luuk is also running a successful bricks & clicks company in vintage clothing, SeventyOne.
